Gable awnings feature a dual-sloped roof design that provides excellent drainage and a bold architectural look. Commonly used as entry canopies, gable awnings drain water to the sides rather than the front and can be built with extended projection for larger walkways and entrances.

Smaller gable awnings are typically constructed with 1″ × 1″ aluminum frames, while larger gable canopies are built using 1″ × 2″ aluminum framing for added strength and rigidity. This heavier framing makes Fabritech’s gable canopies stronger than standard 1″ × 1″ canopy frames commonly used by competitors. Larger gable canopies are usually supported by vertical posts spaced approximately every 10 feet of projection.

Covers are made from premium Sunbrella® fabric and are secured using a concealed webbing band system that stretches the fabric tighter than traditional lacing. All gable awnings also include laced rafter bands on internal rafters and reinforced corner patches on hanging valances for long-term durability and performance.
