Marquee Awnings

Marquee (half-barrel) awnings feature a curved, half-round roof design similar to gable awnings, with rounded end panels that create a bold architectural profile. This style is commonly used for entrances, walkways, and storefront canopies where both coverage and visual impact are important.

Smaller marquee awnings are typically constructed with 1″ × 1″ aluminum frames, while larger marquee canopies use a combination of 1″ × 1″ and 1″ × 2″ aluminum framing for added strength. This heavier construction makes Fabritech’s marquee canopies stronger than standard 1″ × 1″ frames used by many competitors. Larger installations are usually supported by vertical posts spaced approximately every 10 feet of projection.

Covers are made from premium Sunbrella® fabric and secured using a concealed webbing band system that stretches the fabric tighter than traditional lacing. All marquee awnings also include reinforced corner patches on hanging valances for long-term durability and performance.
