Gable Awnings
Gable awnings feature a dual-sloped gable shape. They are often used as entry canopies since they can have an unlimited projection and they drain to the side rather than the front. Smaller Gable awnings are typically manufactured with 1”x1” aluminum frames, and the larger Gable canopies are typically manufactured with 1”x2” aluminum, which makes them much stronger than our competitors’ 1×1 canopy frames. The larger gable canopies are typically supported by a pair of posts approximately every 10’ of projection. Covers are typically manufactured from Sunbrella and are screwed to the frames using a concealed webbing band to stretch them tighter than can be done with traditional lacing. They also feature laced rafter bands on all internal rafters, and corner reinforcement patches on all hanging valances.
